When I worked outside the home, I had the daily routine of using the last 15 minutes of my work day to figure out what I was going to make for dinner. I’d search online for a recipe, write out my grocery list, then head to the grocery store after work. Often we had happy hours to attend or we’d spontaneously decide to have dinner out.

But once we had our daughter – all of that changed. I no longer worked outside the home, which made daily trips to the grocery store impractical, and impromptu happy hours and dinners with friends became much more difficult. Then of course throw in the peculiar tastes of a five year old, and my new gluten free diet, and what to make for dinner becomes much more work.

We all know about the benefits of menu planning, but getting organized and putting everything together takes a lot of work. So to make your life easier as a work at home woman, I’ve decided to compile all of the best meal planning tips, ideas, and recipes in one place.
