Better with Blueberries

It’s National Blueberry Month! We thought we would share our Blueberry Food Guide with you.

Did you know you can prevent blueberries from sinking into your batter when it comes to Blueberries making muffins and other baked goods? The U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council recommends you first spread the batter in your pan, add blueberries and then top with the remaining batter. Another way to prevent “blueberry drop” is to coat blueberries with starch or flour before adding to the batter.
