I agree Ella. It is a very difficult road to be a single parent and it is a unique challenge to help our kids through that process when the other parent chooses to walk away. Hopefully these guidelines and others we will be offering in the coming weeks do provide some assistance and peace of mind in what is an very cruel and unfair situation.

Hi Anne,
Being a single parent is not an easy task. For most of us, we can bear this fact, but for me the most painful part is the realization of our child’s perceptive in life. We do get scared most of the time. That’s why following these guidelines will give us peace of mind. Be at the moment, grow with your child, and try to explain the situation early on but keep in mind to be positive about it.
