Whether you’ll be traveling by car, plane, or just sitting by the pool this summer, make sure to stock up on some good books to help cultivate your mind and spirit over the summer months. A few months ago, a friend sent me an inspirational blog post from Gretchen Rubin’s The Happiness Project. After I read it, I was immediately intrigued by the project and her book, so I bought it and read it within a week. In this book Gretchen does just that by chronicling her own happiness project – which is a journey to finding the positive and uplifting in life. Inspiring and motivational, this book can definitely put you in better spirits. And as a bonus, Gretchen has templates and quizzes on her blog to guide you with your own happiness project.
