Interview with Angie HeilgendorfTell us a little bit about yourself and your entrepreneurial journey.

I am a mom of 3 children with a wonderful husband. I enjoy the outdoors and love meeting new people. I have been called a social butterfly most of my life. I have dabbled in many Direct Sale businesses over the years along with working in the restaurant industry most of my working life. Although I loved working in the restaurant and learning all aspects of how the place functioned, I felt I needed more time with my family.

That is how I came across Restaurant.com. It is the perfect fit for me! I am able to offer programs to help restaurants and small business with our new Double Deals Program and they are free for a business. I also get to offer people an amazing opportunity to do the same thing I do. I still get to be involved in the world I have known most of my life and can still help and meet great people.

How much does it cost to be an Independent Consultant?

The cost was so minimal to get started, that I was able to get started right away.

How many hours do you work a week and how much is spent is your home office?

I typically try and put in at least 6 hours a day in my home office, as this is my full time job now. I do go out at least 1 day a week and visit restaurants and businesses in my area.

How would you rate your success?

I feel I have had amazing success with this opportunity. I have started building a team of great people along with success in every aspect of programs that I am able to offer. I have been the featured spotlight in our company newsletter, have won contests and prizes, and have been asked to join a team of people within our company. I have been told that I am on my way to being a top income earner within the company! 😉

What has been your biggest business struggle as a direct sales consultant?

My biggest struggle has been staying organized. Due to the fact that I offer something that everybody can benefit from the response has been amazing, even overwhelming at times.

What advice would you give to a new direct sales consultant?

The best thing I could say is to be consistent. It’s all in what you put into something as to what you get out of it. Successful business is when everybody wins! I have been told that what you do for your business today will affect it in 3 months. I am finding that to be true.

How do you manage all of your personal and business activities?

My children have taught me how to use the calendar in my smartphone and that is a huge help. I put anything and everything in that calendar and the alerts are wonderful.
